I'm having trouble understanding why the prince would forgive and love her if she has killed him 50 times too but heres my best guess: in this life, when the prince comes to the point where she usually kills him, she will probably choose to save him and he will realize that hes finally the number one for her. Still won't feel that great but it seems obvious. Also technically FL is devoted just like you said, just not to ML bc she hasnt been in love with him in any previous life so that devotion was to someone else.
I do get you. I mean, i see people irl doing the same thing as they couldnt move on from one person. Which kind of hurts more because if he knows love and he loves himself. He wouldnt do this. I can't see this as romantic but more like dependency, picking kindness from what is left off the ground. This isnt love just pity.
Base on the current story, kind of doesnt make sense to fall for the person who killed more so betray you for another to live make sense. I mean if you killed me for some other great reason then okay but that. Mc isnt that good of a person as well as she only like yhis now because she know the past life but without it she will be like the other side character. In almost every story, why does cant the ML just have a lover who doesnt sabotage them as often as most MC does? Like peace, devotion and loyalty. Women are capable of that too not only MLs but authors doesnt seem to believe on that
