Don't be, you suggested that they make sure it was the emperor's child, but of course enlighten me of what you had in mind. Also the only thing you bring to this argument is the word misogynist and the twist of my own words. I suggest that if you want to take part in a debat or argument you are at least able to put two or three words together.

maaannn ur just being weird and playing dumb. They brought up misogyny bc u brought up being a woman bc apparently u think that women can't be misogynists????? idc if u care to respond but I'm not going to, by ur messages I can understand that u think ur winning just by yapping. I hope u get better ig

I see your prospective is as shallow as it can be. I said i'm a woman too because as one i wouldn't want anything that goes along the lines of hurting and disregarding woman(as clearly i would face the consequences too). When you make an argument where neither of the sides wins(and has nothing to lose); whats the point of competing? I don't want to win, i saw the comment to which i disagreed with and commented my opinion. I tried to understand the comments argument but neither of you is trying to understand mine, but yet again i heard nothing but the word misogyny. If you disagree with my opinion on the fact that neither women nor men should be going around fu*king everybody then please elaborate.

You either can't read, are blind or can't seem to comprehend sentences that are above your intelligence not to have understood one thing i said. At some point i thought it was all about misogyny, but it seems to be all about excepting this thing that you call lifestyle. I was wrong i thought i was having an argument with people that were trying to prove a point, but here I'm dealing with people conflicted by their own lives. You are seemingly hopeless if you think that this a lifestyle(but yes this is a life choice to either a dead end or a lonely life)

To come back to your original point I believe noble are allowed to have lovers as long as she doesn't have a child she can't be punished hence why she died after running away with a lover since this a crime(treason and abandon of duties)
Also since she's the empress the emperor can bring a queen (concubine) if he wants
Ps: I totally see your original point and don't understand how it evolved to you being misogynistic (also funny that we are reading a story in a misogynistic period of time)

Thank you for understanding my point. Also emperor's could have concubines but it wasn't really a privilege he either had a weak position and needed powerful family's alliance or they were pushed at him. If he didn't have power and took a concubine choosen only because of love that would be another weakness that the other powerful family's would take advantage to and he would have even less power. But if the emperor had power and took concubines, it would still be shameful if they were from a lower class(so not much of a choice they still needed to be from powerful familys)and if he would choose(if from a family with no backing), she would be targeted (so there would be no way her children would size the throne). If the throne didn't have spot for concubines and the emperor did have a lover(or more than one)they shouldn't be shown to the public as it would be a challenge to the empress (her family), and would bring shame to the royal family. The lover would be a secret one and even if rumours circulated the emperor should not show that it is true. As for women, the same goes for them though if rumours circulated she would probably be shamed and if the rumours were true she would be excluded or executed (i think her family too).
Anyone else feel like the author definitely wants us to feel a particular way about OGFL....? It feels like she's trying to make her out to be the most 'promiscuous' person ever!
(Even hinting that she's also power-hungry and rejected the Duke (main villain with the weird horse manifestation) causing him to go off the deepend. As if he wasn't creepy and cray-cray from the start (● ̄(エ) ̄●))
Like we get it. She enjoyed having sex and attention. Now did she go about it the right way? No. But TBH she was damned from the onset. It's not like Kaliq *really* wanted to sleep with the OGFL either.
I'm not saying the OGFL was a saint, but her enjoying and utilising her sexuality shouldn't be seen as a crime.
Sooo many harem stories or MLs that have partner after partner, who only change when they meet the protagonist that 'isn't like other women'
