I was actually just thinking that, because he never brought it up again except that one tome where he checked his bank account and said he needed to get the money back or something. Hopefully the author didnt forget lol. But i still love the story line

I forgot that the only reason he didn’t want to die was because of his “daughter” (I think that’s his daughter) in chapter 1 because he had saved that money for her :(
