I think maybe one or two wanted to be there, but the crowd went away, and so them... like, you want to do something, but not sure about it, and just leave it in the fate's hands. And they are children. None of them knows what they truly want.
So basically, them kids were only there because their parents want them to be the next Lee Seojun.... poor kids
