I think its bcs he thought the espers he guides is c-rank or lower, as an s-rank guide (he thought) it won’t drain much of his energy, but they are s-rank espers thats why he’ll drained after 1 guiding (i think he’s a bit dumb for not realized it soon enough, or maybe it just how the author tell readers the mc is so naive)
And he is dense af too. With all the clues lying around u would think he would figured it out by now ( I am on ch 20)
Bt he also mentioned he didn't break a sweat when healing a dying s rank
That's why i am slowly reading this because i also frustrated of MC like this. Hope he'll have the brains to compensate
I think it’s because they’re only pretending to be C-rank but they’re actually far stronger (and hiding it from uke) so they take a lot more out him.
Is it just me, or MC can't guide properly? It's like he's an s-guide bla-bla, but he gets tired after a second of guiding. Can't heal properly also. I don't like it. I want him to be the best at his job. I want him to be cool, not lame weakling :(
