When you had a lot curiousity but then once you into the novel you just going binge reading the novel. And the you gonna get soooo mad when a certain scene in the novel not being draw at all or lower than your expectations. This is real torture

Especially when they just skip over scenes. Novels do such a great job of explaining things and creating great dialogue but the adaptations almost always fall short
I think the worst novel adaptation I’ve read was Turning. The novel is really good but the manhwa (or whatever it is) just doesn’t do it justice AT ALL.
I started with the manhwa, moved to the novel then went back and was like, WTF is this?!? You mean this is what they look like? Hell nah.
