I respect your opinion but I disagree lmao. I've read a lot of wholesome manga and I love them but they do tend to get boring.. Like there's no real threat in the plot and I lose interest very quickly. So something a tad darker like this is just great for me.
So long as it don't get too dark, that is...

I wouldn't mind something darker too, it's just that it's only 6 chapters in, and seme's pacing is too pushy and he looks like (probably already did tbh) he can pull the most heinous things at any given moment and make the whole manhwa dark and edgy for the sake of only being dark and edgy, if you know what I mean

I can't quite say because we're nowhere near where the plot actually starts, BUT after reading genuinely sickening dogshit like No Reason and Profundis (you wanna talk about edgy, THAT'S edgy), I can tell you this one is still in the okay zone so far.
And yeah, I do get what you mean. But I also feel like the only reason you think this is edgy is because you haven't come across a manga with actually edgy plot like No Reason or Profundis... Trust me bro, this is NOT edgy at all compared to those...
Also, warning, don't read those 2 manga I mentioned. For real, you will want to vomit. I'm just bringing it up to make a point, not to recommend them lmao
I get the psychological and dark intent for the plot, but damn I wish we can get something of this quality + artstyle but in a more wholesome light.
This would've been so cute as a childhood friends, unrequited love, and reencounter scenario and then they become 2 dads raising uke's daughter
