Honestly im not even mad he doesnt care much abt the public. I think it gives the story fuel and makes it entertaining.
what irks me is ppl just shitting on the mc like the fuck i need atleast one person to shit on the ML PLEASE.
Like not because ml sucks but because theres this underlying bias that somehow the MC is responsible for everything the ML does as if the ML is a baby with zero cognitive functioning.
Its not just this story but a couple more stories ive read this week where ML destroys something to throw a tantrum (a grown ass adult btw) and everyone hating on the MC even dropping the story cuz MCs fault.

So weird how everyone thinks its MCs responsibility to care for the ML. LIKE ML is a grown ass man decided to not get guiding and put the public in jeopardy somehow thats the MCs fault. His brain is prob broken from that trauma of seeing the MC die but looks like MLs brain functions enough to be a captain for like a public safety agency but not enough to worry abt the public?
