For me I think thats the last resort because he tried everything for vain and with 0 progress , he knows that the ml has a weakness wich is his authority threatened, his friend waited for a long time and he knows the public opinions , if the ml does not step forward then there will be consequences like an increase of number of assasination, with the situation of the ml he is likely to die easily thats why he did that
whaaat he did not try everything he left him for 6 whole months and only came back when a letter was sent reaching out, crazy. He came with his own selfish expectations- I truly hate him
I don't like that guy, he pisses me tf off. It's annoying that what he's doing is coming from his own self interest and thinks he's doing the ml a favor.
