I only have two real issues with Chinese manhua. First- the censorship (depending on the series this can be irrelevant) Second- the translations (my biggest gripes are the wrong use of pronouns and a tendency to avoid contractions : can’t > can not)
This particular series isn’t terrible for translations but at the same time it’s obvious that it wasn’t quality checked by a native speaker. The English is mostly correct but sounds unnatural- like most Chinese manhua.
Regardless, I’m happy to have the opportunity to read it. Since the English quality exceeds ai, I hope the translator will pursue my above complaints as possible advice for further improvement.
