I heard on insta that wherever this novel is being posted (webtoon ??) has strict guidelines about like marks and graphic violence so I think the artist is toning it down for that reason idk just parroting what I heard
If they do have this kind of guidelines, why even do this novel when the story has violence? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
They showed the beating, starving, and bruises previously when the maid went to work under Edith. They just suddenly switched up. Plus webtoon does show a significant amount of violence in their stories, so it’s not as strict as you think (mainly lenient on featured stories they have a contract with)
