Do you think her dad and bros would agree to her love for him, then engagement and wedding if there was only a 1% luck it was fake ? And if it was fake once he would have been healed he wouldnt have needed to stay engaged to her....he will be the crown prince si even if Deheen ( or Dewin Esther's dad) is furious he cant destroy all either so it's stay safe for him....and a liar wouldnt cry if he saw Esther risking her life and woulfnt risk her life for her.....

Maybe i need to speak more of him so you could understand : after his illness waa discovered he was took by thd temple the king couldn't refuse an he was put in the sanctuary all he had to do was to wait his death, during this time he saw Esther in his dream ( her past lifes) and feel in love....decided to help her have her revenge against Ravienne anf the temple. then he met her....yeah at 1rst we can think he uses her anf in a way it's right since he needed to be betrer to become the cown prince so he could be of somr use to her....
I think if Esther never liked him he would have just continue to like her....
When he saw her in his dream she gave him hope more than when he met her....
