This is one of the few historical isekai rofan manhwas that brings up a lot of realistic aspects of what it's like to live in that era. Slavery, war and conquest, even the persistent patriarchy and misogyny masked within that "you don't need to do anything, just be a good wife". Allen is still a flawed husband and father, I get it since it's passed down from his terrible dad, and it was a norm in that kingdom, like I'm not even mad because it makes sense with the setting of the story. Like the "just abort the twins if it means it'll harm my wife", it's clear with that mentality he'd repeat his dad's sin and neglect and possibly blame his twins if Chloe ended up dying. He doesn't respect his wife's wishes and boundaries, he underestimates her intelligence. Like he's such a red flag, but what I like is that Chloe as time passes on she becomes more confident and stands her ground.
