I haven't really read the comments too much but I haven't seen too much hate. If there is though, they might all be missing that point you mentioned.
This arc solidifies that he is not going to be on top all alone and ruining other people in the process like in his past life.
Guys I believe this arc was here not for something like a female lead but to show us that the mc is finding his way. That he is finding reason in playing the violin and his second life
