Duke never questioned that.... It's all bcz of that man who claimed to be her father and also bcz she has magic and she innocently showed it to everyone.... Which raised question.... And even though he is Duke he can't force things.... That is why he even planned to make her his daughter in law by adopting a son... Which is current Duke.....
