at the very least, we can pretend he loses his lil baggie and gets mobbed by some coyotes in the woods
I think he WAS a good person until his father forcefully married the girl he loved simply because he loved her and made her bear a child even though she was sickly. Zafra remembered him as being kind remember?
i remember... but then he tried to r4pe said child in disillusioned revenge and continued to harass the child for years and hold disdain for their mother until she died and he gave up and decided to instigate an unnecessary war with their neighboring country, costing the lives of hundreds of innocent people. i feel like by then he became a distinctively NOT good person with a tragic backstory. there may be a chance for redemption but he hasnt earned it in the slightest at this point in the story

That’s why I used past tense. He WAS a good person. Who had something tragic happen to him and started off on his own villain arc. We can’t deny all the wrongs he’s done. But we also can’t deny he was once a good person that Zafra remembered. He isn’t even trying to redeem himself so we the chances of that are actually none.

the brother part made me want to see him go though more trials and issues to become a better person. not sure he can be, but stories like to try to do that even if it isn't logical.
