This is the thing that confused me the most to be honest, the blond hair didn't suddenly grow in a few hours so she wasn't even bald.
The second thing that confused me the most is where she was abandoned...the father asked the maid to bring her to the church or whatever but the maid brought her to a graveyard. Why? She was even supposed to feel guilty, then why abandon the baby where nobody will find her? ( ╹ -╹)?

I just read the first chapter and came back to comment on this. I didn't grow hair until after my first birthday. My parents stuck bows on my head with Vaseline. Like, it's a baby. Chill out with the accusations.
As for the maid, a baby's vision is limited to about 12 inches, the same distance between the faces of the baby and the person holding them. This vision expands over time, of course, but she likely can't see as far as the maid. For all we know, they were being followed so she had to leave her as close as she could before being seen again. Anyone following her wouldn't be able to see right away she wasn't carrying something anymore.

Well, in truth, that's what happened to "changeling" babies. Any babies born with congenital conditions that were more apparent after birth or, as more recently suggested, toddlers who end up being on the spectrum, they were thought to be weak fairy babies swapped for their healthy child so they would leave them in the woods overnight so the fairies would take their child back and return their own. If the baby died of exposure, it was thought to be the fairy baby and the human one is just living with the fairies for life.
I was born with a congenital heart condition that was surgically fixed before my first birthday. I would have been one of these "changelings" and would have died sooner from the exposure (if my mom even allowed that to happen) than my condition without modern intervention. I also have a third cousin who was born with only three chambers in his heart and was still undergoing surgeries to build the final chamber through elementary school. So all my cousins on my dad's side are screened and their kids are recommended to be screened for heart conditions since my birth.
TL, DR; Back in the day, I could have totally been abandoned as a baby due to a congenital heart condition I would have eventually died from anyway. Look up changeling babies.
abandoning a bald infant is wild
