I think so too.... But you know what? If Ian ends up with Jo, I want another cute uke for TJ at at least. i don't want him to die nor be alone. He must be with someone even if it isn't Ian. Please!

Always were. The story is bittersweet, but also tries to be hopeful. TJ is a compelling character, but it's obvious that if there is to be anything resembling a happy ending, it won't be with TJ and Ian together. For a tragic ending though... welp, who knows.
