Right, I didn't understand why it had to be so rushed. I feel like the older brother had a lot going on for him too. He had complexity. He was obsessed with the main character to the point where he would kidnap him & kill his lover... etc etc... but there was nothing there to show us why he was like this. We just KNOW he was obsessed and that's it. It falls flat for me. The brother being an antagonist made no sense to me.
the end is falling flat for me.... feeling rushed, esp at their reunion. they had so much to talk abt and it kept getting tossed aside with "well whatever!"s and "no sir!! uwu" "ahhh ahh ahhhh"s and its like what happened to the plot?!?!
and then they had the nerve to jump headfirst back into the storyline so casually and drop the entire denouement and brother arc/reveal in one go lmao. i cant believe he remembered everything and had the nerve to ask him out when hes back in the country. have some mf decorum! anyways i didnt need the bro arc any longer than this, it did just fine as is. but the main characters' personalities feel a little like caricatures now :(((
