It’s not the same year as Omega Complex. The current time happens AFTER the main story of Omega Complex. So Wooyeon is currently 20, and since Dohyun is four years older than him, Dohyun is 24. Omega Complex seems to have happened when Dohyun was around 18-20

Novel age confirms and mentions wooyeon (mc) as 20, multiple times, and confirms the age difference is four years. So Dohyun is 24. Doesn’t say anything about Korean age. Dohyun also stated he was 20 when they met.
In the 2 chap when Wooyeon was on the phone with his fiend and his fiend said “your only 18” and then wooyeon says “in Korean age I’m 20”. So I have no idea what that means lol.
In the entire novel they keep referring to him as 20, and Dohyun as 24. You can think of him as 18 if you want. But I guess if you want to stick it with Korean age, then they’re living in Korea and have the ages they personally have referred to themselves as.
When Dohyun and Wooyeon are talking about their ages, Wooyeon constantly says to him that he’s 20 now. They’re gonna keep referring to themselves as 20 and 24, but I guess you can think what age you want them to at this point lmfao.

Wooyeon states that he went to school in Korea from ages 14-16, a total of 3 years. Then if I remember correctly, he went to the U.S. for 4 years.
