Technically he’s not exactly a green flag. He did try to kill her at the start when she didn’t do anything and when she was proven useful he didn’t kill her.
Comparatively the absolute red carpet MLs are the who get away with anything and tbh all the shoujo popular mangas have MLs like that. However, after forming the contract he's been the most supportive and caring partner ever and even more since he's falling for her. So technically that would definitely make him a green flag for me. I understand ur take tho.
I don’t really read much manga so I honestly wouldn’t know that much. I mostly read Korean comics because I can’t exactly read manga but I feel like he’s more on the grey area for me. Maybe I’m just petty or something lol. Usually I could read some messed up ML so I personally don’t why this one bothered me the most well at least his intentions on using her is clear. I guess I just prefer ML’s like “How to save the Lovable you” or like “ I Raised My Fiancé with Money” or even “ Another Typical Fantasy Romance”
I don’t exactly like the notion of being useless or useful so maybe that’s the main reason why? actually YEAH the main reason why I’m so annoyed about it is because of the useless or useful stuff.
