Idk. He kinda says that magic stone had no worth 8 years ago so he probably didn’t think too hard about it. He also couldn’t sell the stone in safe places because you have to have a hunter license to access them.
He's been relying on the AI on his phone to ask about a lot of things and... He couldn't ask about where to sell that stone without making him look suspicious? Or at least what's the right price for it? It's so inconsistent. It's like the novel author had to write it for the sake of plot. So it could move in the direction they wanted. If that was the case, I'd rather the MC didn't have to rely on his phone. At least with that, there would be an excuse why he's so clueless. Idk, it just irks me. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
