Ugh! I really can't stand this style of writing. Feeding so many issues and showing too many new characters without addressing a previous conflict. Like can you please first resolve the issue where he doesn't remember what happened that night? It would've been so fun if the story focused on that first. What with all the teasing and stuff. I can't also feel the MC having a crush on ML like if you have liked the person that long surely there's some desperation there but there's none. I like a slow burn but with tension building up. This has none. Instead it focuses on introducing a bunch of characters and a bunch of issue that could've been shown at a later time. I don't know if this is just because of good manhwa's I've read recently but this is irritating me
Pity because I was so excited to read this and was drooling over ML's fuckin tattoo but this didn't turn out as I expected. I'll probably come back when I've got a different perspective and expectation. My perspective might change by that time. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

I mean, where only 20 chapters in and I believe the novel is much longer than that.

If the story would have focused on the drunk part, this would be a whole different webtoon … like it’s not about the night they apparently had sex, it’s about seungju’s spiritual power (or in that sense, the lack of) and ofc the difficult dynamic between seungju and muheon. Not knowing what happened leaves us in the dark, just as seungju always feels.

The plot focusing only on their relationship would ruin this.

And seungju is already really desperate and hurt? TT he’s been kept at an arms length for his whole life basically, muheon has been distancing himself yet overstepping boundaries all the time … what kind of reaction are you expecting from seungju? (Genuinely curious, not meant in a rude way!)

This is definitely slow burn with a medium amount of plot - compared to other webtoons it’s just not as fast paced, porny and straight to the point

I think you're thinking that I want them to get down and dirty immediately. That's not it. I hate those too. Yeah it's not about the sex of course but that's the first conflict they presented. You have to resolve that first then slowly introduce other conflicts. Else it's going to be all over the place with all issues popping up everywhere. Also, it doesn't need to be porny it needs to have emotions, something that didn't resonate to me because If I had been in love with a person for so long, I would've have been desperate and me waking up like that on his bed would've eaten me up. I wouldn't just brush it off and move on. That's why i couldn't relate with the MC. I think that was my issue based on my previous comment lol.

Anyway, I already forgot bits and pieces of my long ass comment so I can't answer you point by point. It's been like more than 10 days already and I've read so many other manhwas. Do note that my perspective of what I read depends on my current mood and what type of story I read before it or what I'm currently into. I might try to give this another try in some future time and will hopefully appreciate it by that time.
