Okayyyyy but toxic bl usually have a point. So far we’ve seen no progress, not even sure where this ends up. Just repetitive stuff, he assaults him, feels as if he’s a victim bc he loved him for two lifetimes, does something nice, gets rejected, then assaults him again.
It doesn’t help that the mc (bless his heart) personality is so bland that it confuses me why are people so obsessed with him. If they gave him a bit more than helpless victim then I’d be more intrigued but it’s going no where.

i believe the author just saw killing stalking and painter of the night getting so much recognition then saw how popular historical bl and Isekai stories got then made this as a conjunction of it all.
The issue is that the author seems uncomfortable with making the ml completely a villain. It’s as if they’re like “yes he’s bad.. BUTTTT he’s in love uncontrollably.” The previous mentioned stories don’t shy away from that, Sangwoo was written as a horrible guy and though his past was shown they didn’t do it in a way to justify his actions. He was a bad guy with a bad past who died with no one to grieve him but his victim. I stopped reading painter of the night but before I stopped, the mc was written as a horrible guy who was irredeemable no matter how he tried.
The author just wanna write Straight up assault and sex or what. Like where is all of this going brah
