Honestly this is no where near as bad as profundis so far. There’s not really much progress for me to tell you whether what type of flag it is, since everything is still kind of secretive right now but the mc so far is treated way better then the one in profundis.
I think it should be better since this one is shounen ai, no? Read some spilers and if I remember correctly ML will grovel later..
Profundis is just a no go for me.. Tried to stayed to see if it gets better in time, it just hurts seeing the MC being treated like that..

Yeah it's really difficult to read. I'm still currently reading it for reasons I also don't understand lol but I'm kinda still hoping for a happy ending to the story, at least against the big bad enemy. It has a very dystopian and end-of-the-world feels and I think that's what makes me still read it. But I can't read Guiding Light anymore coz I think it's just a pale imitation of Profundis, its world building isn't that great to make me stay.

I would say that it's one level below the middle of these two, hehe. Anyway, the most red flag in the story is probably Andante before the chasing arc. And let me copy my comment from before for clarifications.
