HOHO I read this when I was older and I always felt it was bad because of the age gap and the fact Kousuke is his teacher but you know what, is also one of the few mangas I, surprisingly can turn off my brain at that aspect because I find Masahiro super cute, if the were closer in age they'll work perfectly too, with Kousuke's manly charm and Masahiro's motherly attitude, is super funny.
Coming back to the plot(? I forgot the mom was pregnant, or, more like, never noticed, sometimes tjis manga has weird dialoges or the plot moves too fast. The Oshiba Dad works fast, he came back out of nowhere, got her pregnant, and now he is away again, AMAZING. No wonder Kousuke need someone to relax and depend on with such a laid back family like that.
