It’s better to read for yourself, as those spoilers are REVIEWS and not neutral. Often times many readers can think of things as worse than they are based on their own preferences. If you wanted a total perfect green flag, then sure maybe this story isn’t for you.
Master manipulator and groomer is very extreme and I saw that review as well. I could tell right away that the reviewer was clearly already biased and mixing in mostly opinion.

The so-called “master manipulator” that you may be thinking of is: Dohyun being hired by mc’s mom to monitor him as his tutor. Or the fact that he knew MC’s identity soon after they reunited, but he pretended not to know simply because MC was clearly showing he didn’t want his identity to be known by him, so he waited until mc would tell him himself.
The so-called “groomer” is him being a regular tutor for a single semester of school (no longer than 2 months), not sharing or making any moves on him as he’s a student, then Dohyun leaving the job and not seeing the mc for 4 years. Only meeting him again when they see each other in college. Which is already stated in the beginning chapters.
AGREED. besides dohyun is only used as a plot device for the couple in omega complex, it's only natural that his character hasn't been shown in depth. the character makes mistakes and people immediately label him as a red flag the main point of dohyun's character is that he uses a good persona and lies as a form of self-protection i doubt whether you really read the novel or not.

Saw everyone talking about the spoilers from the novel so I got curious and went to check and wtf this ain’t even the same character from omega complex bro. The author should have just made him a different character and made this a different story. I read omega complex after finding this and reading about Dohyun there and how he talks about the kid he’s tutoring during the festival to others…you expect me to believe he’s some master manipulator gtfo he was so smitten with the omega from omega complex I’m so confused.
Also making him a groomer (according to the spoilers) like does the author just hate Dohyun and was annoyed that he was more popular than Tae as the second lead so character assassination was to be put to play?
