He did it just like all the other "green tea bitches" and "white lotus" characters from shoujo-type stories. They play all innocent in front of everyone (including the MC sometimes), then spread rumors behind the MC's back. I'm certain this is what happened to Maythan unless the little prince had someone else do his dirty work for him.
dude that cheeky little prince is genuinely getting on my nerves. I expected him to be evil, but how on earth did he manage to initiate a curse on Maythan?
