I think they hang them outside to dry. I've seen it done a few times in other stories.
I'm quite sure they don't have a dryer. A lot of people where I live dry their cloths on a line outside, or in their house. It helps to keep cloths nice and fresh looking (especially whites!) (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
