Exactlyyy. If they just read the manhwa from the start or the novel they’ll see that the mc does pretty similar things that Dohyun did. They just let mc have a free pass cause he’s a bottom and the main character
The whole red vs green flag debate seems a bit off so far? Even if they had some deception drama in the past, it doesn’t seem like ML has any malicious intentions (I didn’t read the novel but I did go through the webcomic raws). He’s very protective too. Imma continue reading. Whether he is nice because he’s guilty, attracted to MC or into some new mind game is up to you to decide as a reader. Might be a mix of the three, imo.
Based on some of the spoilers I will say this: maybe he’s not a red flag but I can understand how the omission of an action (in this case choosing not to disclose info to MC) will be a shitty choice on his part. Especially since he decided to pursue MC anew. Looks like a situation where he will keep things hidden for too long and it’s gonna implode. It will become another major breach of trust probably. I can see how that would irritate me in the future hahha but it’s too early to assume it’s red flag behavior. It’s more so cowardly.
