Not sure about that, i think its similar to Mdzs where the original owner sacrifice his life for a new person to take over and revenge on their behalf. Also if u read carefully, theres a supernatural reason why MC is able to possess Ye Doyoon's body.

I have a feeling that as Kim Doyoon's hair loses all of the black dye and return to its natural blonde, he's gonna go away and Ye Doyoon is gonna come back
Maybe I'm mistaken, but the memories keep unfolding as the hair gets lighter.
I'm thinking it might resemble Kim Doyoon slowly fading away.
