No, I get it’s not serious (I.e. FAKE dating), but when you’re trying to sus out your ex to the point you create a fake relationship shouldn’t you actually follow through to some extent? Like she told her ex bfs SISTER she wasn’t dating like okay you think she’s not going to pass that along?? Then she tells the actual ex of the fake bf she’s not over her ex and isn’t dating (obvi she didn’t know who she was but if she had stuck to her fake dating script this wouldn’t be an issue) so it’s just irritating to know it’s going to come bite them in the ass when the ex comes to manipulate ml later with “you look pathetic making a fake relationship and I’ve been watching you play pretend this whole time.”
