I think this is calm before the storm. The author likes angst & stuff like that, so we should probably prepare for some pain.

Well slight spoiler alert then!There needs to more another storm for them to really conclude their relationship, so as I read in a comment regarding the novel what's gonna happen is that the seme will spiral a bit in not inflicting pain to the uke as in the topic of bdsm will come up again
