Sameee that is a one big lame ahh plothole, like we learn that the prophecy was false when pope was talking to himself (about temple losing authority), but then how those people who was shown dead around kid prince died? Why pope never received any punishment or not even imperial investigation was ordered about the cause of those prior deaths, and how everyone suddenly believed so easily that prophecy was false when the calamity happened anyways? And him suddenly going from being treated as the lowliest criminal to a well-respected crown prince does not make sense in the slightest
I’m kinda confused about the princes curse cause in the flashbacks it shows and talks about the curse being a prophesized while the prince still looked young he looked like 15 but clearly he’s a young adult and the curse is gonna be lifted if he doesn’t fall asleep for a week? But he fell asleep and the calamity was jsut the dragons. So is it jsut a new calamity that he may or may not dream of and if he falls asleep after that dream it comes true? Then why is he able to be reinstated so quickly since the calamity still happened they jsut were able to deal with it bc of Shari
You know as I kept typing it started making sense and now I think I get it. So it’s a curse where if he dreams of something bad it will come true if he falls asleep after it (really it just sounds like he can foresee/tell the future so it wouldn’t matter either way he’s not causing the calamity) it kept happening as he grew and the emperor deemed him a criminal bc of it and banished him. Still doesn’t make sense how he got reinstated tho lol
