Omg yes. MC has been so frustrating with the double standard. It was almost hard for me to be swept up in the emotion of this chapter once he showed up and got onto the ML for "going through it alone." My guy!! That's you!!
No forreal. This chapter actually felt like the ML was growing, maturing, fixing his own issues and trauma and then the Mc showing up and saying what he said made it feel like he’s the sleazy ex who comes back now that the ML is finally making some progress. The MC just feels really sleazy to me right now. I’m so pissed that it’s been all these chapters and he hasn’t grown or self reflected at all. He’s the only one who hasn’t, even his step bro has. Why is Mc always the victim. I used to blame the step bro for meddling, but seeing how the Mc is handling things, I can’t blame the step bro for doing what he did/is doing if Mc is just going to stick his head in the sand and or run away or lash out unreasonably and then martyr himself.
no for real!!! what is our ML supposed to do? he fought some guy for our MC, and our MC gets mad, walks off and leave, ignores ML for dayzzz, ML mom dies, ML missed an important deadline for his career. and you have the GAUL to ask me "why are you going through it alone?" when our MC goes through everything alone and hates getting help?? if 2+2 is 4 and 5+5 is 10....wtf is this.
On a real note, as someone who has lost a parent, the last thing i'm thinking about is someone who left me. especially since i wasn't close to this parent like our ML wasn't close to his mom. there's probably so many "what ifs" going through his rn.
No for real. The step bro and ML is really fighting for his honor, esp. the step bro because he knew the Mc was being used by the guy the whole time and was trying to prevent it the whole time. But the MC doesn’t even care. Just blames his bro and the ML, no mention of him even acknowledging that his ex friend is the true bad one and Has been playing him. If I were the ML, I would’ve broke up with him then and there. How is the MC thinking sooooo twisted, that he thinks he has to talk to the ex friend again, but avoids the ML for DAYS.
I hope the author makes them properly communicate about this whole thing once and for all.
I hope it gets addressed that the MC is a hypocrite. He can’t blame the ML for going through it all by himself when the reason they’re “split” now is because the MC chose to do what he did “all by himself”
And also, I’ve BEEN waiting for that sleazy, ex-intern to get his just desserts.
