I think its because the characters think she matured faster due to the situation she was put in being on her own from a very young age and having to protect herself (even though that still doesn't make complete sense of it)
Exactly. If you meet a person you don't know and what kind of life they lived then of course you can't predict what they know or don't know. Such is the case with Leonia. Of course it'd be sad to witness a child so mature when they shouldn't be but situations sometimes make children wiser than some grown ups.
I'm not sure if my comment was misunderstood or I'm the one misunderstanding the replies but just in case , my comment about Leo was a praise and compliment I love her a lot more than other reincarnation to a child female mcs where in some not all case, frustrate me just a bit because of the contrasting maturity and appearance
If leo were a normal child I would've thought it was fucked up that she had to comfort the grandfsther about her own mothers death, IF she were a normal child. But she's not, I don't think she's made that big of an effort to hide her maturity and everyone knows that
Unlike in some cases in other manwhas where suddenly a baby/child acts so mature out of nowhere at least in the pov of the other characters I think that's kinda fucked up and it gives me a bit of an ick.
I think it's more of the fact that mostly only the audience know how mature the actual mental maturity of an mc, and the characters just accepting without truly knowing it making it feel very Mary sue ish, but plastering a baby's face on it makes it feel even more off
