Believe it or not, that is a pretty realistic to Korean High School and netizen.
A famous actor got accused of SA by random bitch in internet.
Everyone got on the fun to post hate comment.
Threatening his life, no one is helping him.
He then log out of his life.
After his death, it was found that the accusations was false and was orchestrated by hater who actual reason is envy of the actor's good life.

Honestly... I can't even say it's just on sk that this shii happens... today there's all kind of crazies, but I won't forget that what started all this school shttin was extreme behavior of students that were bullied.. tbh bullying in schools always existed... it was just... more subtle in the past... because if you got caught... 90% of the time you'd get beaten half alive by your parents...
Not the same but kinda the same about online bullying/slander... before, it also existed but in a more subtle way... to the point the person would only know they're being talked about after some time... and nothing too excessive was said... because there was no anonymity... if a rumor was spread there was a gossipmonger behind it and they weren't hard to find. And they were also looked down uppon. People feel too free to say whatever they used to only think because on the internet you don't need to expose your own identity to badmouth others...
I'm not being a boomer saying that "on my times things were better" or sht like that... because it wasn't... it wass as shtty as today, a different kind but as bad... I just marvel at how people have become so extreme in general the more time passes...
Couldn't they have at least changed something? Like make him win and expose the traitor to give his brother a chance to live. Like the brother can be in a coma (no offense, I know this is not an optimistic condition) for now. Also, who the f would just assume he would kill the brother? Dude someone may be delinquent or may have bad personality issues but that does not give anyone the right to be accused of being a murderer. The bullying the malicious gossiping, really an ugly standard of high schools.
