So... cliffnotes - very spoiler don't read if you're not sure.

Uruman rapist dies, Emperor not mad at mc about it, but mc gets found out regarding stealing the gun plans. This forces raonhiljo to escape with mc - there's big raonhiljo flashbacks then traveling to get out of the kingdom. Emperor is murdering SO many people trying to find him. Just as they're getting away, Emperor arrives and takes mc back. Mc is confined, raped and refuses to eat. Emperor is getting imae poison symptoms, they learn of this possibility but the Emperor already knows and doesn't care? But they start looking for the antidote The concubine attacks mc in a jealous fit trying to kill him and find the antidote but ends up also murdered by Emperor. Raonhiljo returns to take mc again with a rebel army, during the fight the imae poison finishes its job and as the Emperor is dying, mc yells at him wanting him to care about what he's done but he just doesn't, though he's kinda regretful he doesn't care(if that makes sense) He dies as mc tries to heal him with his horn antidote. Raonhiljo takes mc and starts a new settlement with the rebels. Mc is not into it, keeps sleepwalking again. Raonhiljo gives mc a name then lets him go. Mc leaves and goes back to his home to where he lived with his mother to rebuild his life.

Turns out Emperor didn't die, just haggard and worse for wear, so is mc after his horn was damaged giving the antidote (and being attacked by the concubine). At chp 40 they're kind of kindling something. Emperor is softer and more respectful but still doesn't feel the emotions he should. I might have missed stuff but honestly the big plot points are here. It's a long and bloody tale.
