Like in his house for yeaaarrrs how could he not know about his wife and daughter and the way they're treating her
And it's not uncommon in that time for ppl to look down and abuse the illegitimate child
And it thing about sending ppl to find her mother for years .. it's not like she moved to another country or smth
And both girls are about the same age so it's either he cheated on his wife with her mother and she found out and left or left her mother to marry that redhead or he just married that redhead right after her mother ran or Infront of her and might actually asked her to be a mistress
Or her mother was a maid and slept with her while he is in an arragened marriage (current wife)and when the current wife knew she threatened the mother or the mother found out she's pregnant and ran away
So either cases he's a jerk and probably even if he found out he won't do a thing about it and it's not like he tried to get close to his daughter after finding her even tho she had no one at that house he just gave her the basics of living food clothes and a place and a tutor
yet another useless father of the FL. There’s no way he didn’t know what’s going on in his house AND as the other person commented. The two girls’ ages are too close. Either way it rolls, he’s a POS dude who either cheated or immediately got over the FLs mother and immediately got the new lady pregnant. Like wtf. Also, to not better protect your daughter that you supposedly love when there’s no way he doesn’t know what’s going on and what his wife is doing? Lord help me, I hate these types of fathers.
