as someone who didn't read the novel i honestly have no complaints abt the pacing and obviously i have no complaints abt any changes since i dont know what they are but i think the story is in a good spot rn

dragging out the work up to the execution would have been torture tho i do agree that they could have given killian a bigger role in saving her but even still seeing her own skill and wit save her was good as well

    Same! It sounds like the novel drug some parts out but I’m pretty happy the novel didn’t. I don’t like waiting months for misunderstandings to finally resolve.

    I think novel is a bit more emotional manhwa feels like each chapter is rushed. But manhwa has better flow, like how the royal family was present in the execution or how they had Edith in comfy room instead of a cell in the novel (the duke didn't fully take her side yet in novel) or the mother being awake to testify
