honestly, when people who comment 'mc is so dumb!!' etc. usually don't take into consideration they are reading from an omniscient perspective and when they omit this factor in their judgement, it's a telltale sign they lack media literacy

I feel like ppl are saying the MC is dumb but I think he just has spent so many years with low self esteem and also being alone, so his expectations are low. He probably doesn’t feel like he deserves something great…
