If you read the ending by itself I think literally nothing can prepare you for what happens before it. It’s such a... heartwarming ending. How??? I don't think sensei should be forgiven but somehow the 4 of them ended being happy it seems. This is such an unexpected turn.
PS: does anyone know sensei's secondary gender? Alpha? Beta? Omega?? Since he didn't (?) have the heat supressing medicine I don't think that's the case, but was it ever mentioned? I really don't wanna reread everything just in case I missed one singular speech bubble. If anyone has the answer, by all means lol
