Cause like they both are like soulmates and they understand the idea of age-matters so well that Hangyoul is acting totally maturely within boundaries
And Taehyuk is also not getting all in his own head about any kind of romance they have in 10 years.
They both get their new positions and accept it maturely. And I think Hangyoul accepts it because the situation has done so much for him he can’t be ungrateful. And even if he likes Taehyuk v much in any moment blushing or something, I feel like a kind of respect makes him honour the present Taehyuk and his relationship to him in the moment, respecting it enough to want to recreate the past all over and see present Taehyuk as a replacement for the older one in his past. That would be unfair, y’know.
So I think it’s really cool actually.

I love how they've represented the platonic relationship between the 2 and I guess he has the mental age of a 21 year old man but I just cant read this without remembering he's in an 11 year olds body i mean 11 is crazy young, it just feels icky, like the author could of made them any other age. I like the idea of them being soulmates, which is quite romantic but imagine a different route if they had a smaller age gap, they could of re met in highschool or sum cz in the end the author decided to set the scene like that which rlly doesn't interest me. I like your opinion on this bl it's rlly defined and I can probably read it with less ick now LOL

Actually I think they’re 17 years apart
At the beginning of the story mc is 21 and ml is 38. Also when mc goes back he thinks “oh so Taehyuk must be 28 right now”
So I think it’s a 17 years age gap
