It's a slightly fresh take on the usual tropes. You have the passive MC who happens to stumble into and solve dangerous issues, you have the goodie-two-shoes MC who just always wants to do what's right, you have the usual betrayed MC so sets out to live his second life the right way, etc.
An then you have Korin. Who does indeed want to save the world and bring a happy ending to everyone he can. But does so in a very anti-hero and selfish way. :P
Damn Korin is so obsessed with saving the world huh? Unlike that guy who was yandere towards Korin... The difference between a great hero and a fake hero.
