Yeah, she was feeling guilty because she thinks his parents died because of her and she took a childs parents from him so the way she acted was out of guilt which gave a different meaning to uke but in reality she was trying to protect him, it was kinda sad ( to me at least)

That part of the story make me cry alot, cause looking at the aunts pov it must have been really hard for her ,tho what she did was unhealthy, but I finded that the author somehow potrait it very nicely.

So, the mc parents died on their way back from a vacation that the mc mother's sister (mc's aunt) gave. The aunt blamed herself so much that she cannot look at the mc eventho she looked after him. She told her part of the story only after the mc's lover asked her why she was treating the mc like that .
The scene which happened before the above incident was- the mc went to his parents grave , which the auntys son told him the time so the aunty and mc don't meet, but they meet anyway buy chance , in which the mc and his lover were fooling around in the car (ahem), the aunt hit the mc lover , and took both of them to her house. In which later she said ' i thought he cause another trouble' , which indicated that the mc was assaulted once in which the aunty saved him in the past. It might be omegaverse but I'm not too sure now
