If they aren't officially together that means he did NOT cheat, and he also put a line when he told Noel he confused his feelings for Jace, Jace made it clear 100% that was the end of their meetings, which means Jace did NOTHING wrong by sleeping with another guy since their meetings to sleep together, already ended.
