Even if ML did lose his memories, everything he did and said to the MC is irredeemable in my head. Like, setting aside the mate thing for a moment, he's still a whole ass human being - a living and breathing person - that's being treated like chew toy. I did like the parts where the ML grovelled and cried and got hit tho
