My least favorite thing us when there is zero redemption or actual consequences for the shifty person. I've read so man where one person is trash and they do like 3 nice things are forgiven. No rebuilding of trust or anything.

I remember reading some bullshit BL where ML was also an absolute bastard and MC ran away from him. The only "redemption" he got was that he got impotent and therefore forced MC back. And nope he didn't apologize or feel any kind of remorse.
