I was reading the novel until chapter 83 or so before dropping, and yeah he's still a prick. It doesn't matter that now he believes her or whatever bc they didn't even have a full conversation about everything when he suddenly started having sex with her. He's so unlikable and from the spoilers I've seen on NU he is NOT getting any better so yeah... be mindful of that when reading
Basically when I read chapter 14, when fl asked the duke to kill her again. He suddenly said that he doesn't want to be a husband who kills his wife. While in chapter 5, when fl asked him to do it. He did it without hesitation. Like hello??? Did the author forget something or do my eyes have a problem reading..?
