Where did it say that she picked them up? Claude is still a kid who she actually is helping raise vs grown ppl who she only trained with magic. They are just students, not kids she raised.

Like, with no explanation whatsoever, she disappeared one day and she expects them who she raised to not search for her?!?!
Like--- not her giving special treatment to Claude, saying that she loves him, but not give the original children that she picked up any love??
